whats this blueish hugh?

O.K. not sure i spelt "hugh" right, lol, but i cant get rid of it!
heres a pic of what im polishing.

its stainless steel. i got it turning out pretty good, but i get this blueish tint that shows up in just the right light ( i couldnt get it to show in pics though)
I started with a sisal wheel with black compound, then went to a spiral sewn wheel with the green compound. shines like crazy, but has that blueish tint.
am i missing a step? or doing somehting wrong? HELP!!
