What Stripper to use in tank?

If I was to buid a part stripping tank, what would I fill it with? Now there are a few chemicals that dissolve and not strip like Eastwoods Powder Coat & Paint Dissolver. IT can be reused multiple times. Not if you are to fill a 50 – 100 gallon tank, you would have to sell a kidney. What is a cheaper route? What dissolver will eat paint and powder to dip parts in that can be reused for some time without replenishing? is there such a thing? What do the large ships use? If there is a "Greener" solution that also is able to go down the drain this is a plus as home operations don’t have chemical disposal available.
