Tin solution? What is it for and how do I do it?

I am a complete rookie to plating and I just bought a set for plating plastic parts with Nickel. I was recommended by Caswell to buy the following:
Copper Conductive Paint
Immerse Tin Solution
Combination Kit Nickel/Copper (plug and plate)
So I bought this.
The thing is now I don’t know what to do with the Immerse Tin Solution? That I should use it after the painyt I’m aware of, but I don’t know how and why? Can anyone with some experience please help me out?
Thanks a lot in advance!
