Tank size question

Hello everyone, I have a question about tank sizes.

I got the 1 galon plastic bucket that comes along with the electroless kit. My quetion is, 1 gal = 8 pints. In the manual, the closest figure for the tank size reference is 10 pints.

Do I use the 10 pint tank size numbers when working with the galon bucket? or do I have to adjust all the numbers given in the charts for 8 pints?

Please forgive me if the question is dumb…
