starting an oven build

Okay. I have been throwing this one out there.

So I read the best way to do it is to start with "metal studs".. I am assuming just square tubes 2"x2" with a 1/8" wall thickness.

Is that to much over kill?

Then you are to frame it on the inside and outside with sheet metal and insulation in between?
