Power Supply –> Ano Tank question

Posted by admin on June 19th, 2009 at 03:23pm

Hi guys, was reading up on all the great information here since I’m new and had a question myself.
I recently purchased my power supply (30V/30A Mastech). The seller said for that I should add in a diode from the positive terminal on the power supply to the part to ensure that electricity flows properly and will not reverse flow and damage the power supply. Is he right? Or would simply connecting positive end to the part and negative end to the cathode be enough?
