Powder running off the edges

Posted by admin on May 2nd, 2009 at 07:13am

Ok i got a new problem here… I have been trying to do a few brackets for myself in Black Chrome II.. Everything comes out good, meaning that the powder comes out good and sticks to the bracket well.. Just when I put it in the oven after about 5min I can see that the powder comes off of the edges…

I have sanded the edges so they are not so sharp. I have recoated it and still the same thing, the powder just flows away from the edges… So I figured that I would coat in another for a base then use black chrome on top… No such luck same chit keeps happening… I coated in chrome first then tried black chrome on top,, NOTHING!!!…. The pmt doesnt even get up to cure temp and the powder flows away from the edges.

Anyone got any good ideas for this??.. should I put it in at a lower temp for a longer time??? im really getting confused by this..Just seems to keep coming out like chit….. BAD DAY!!!
