Polishing hard to reach areas on carburetors & other parts
Posted by admin on February 11th, 2012 at 08:17pm
Now, I’m familiar with polishing, and I’ve polished many a piece of aluminum before, but just not carburetors. I basically want the same finish, but I’ll admit I’m dumbfounded as to what to do about those hard to reach areas. What tools to they make for such a task? I’m looking to make it shiny like a mirror.
Any help would be greatly appriciated!
Thanks!
Mike W.
P.S.
Polishing the carb on my crf450R !! Considering the frame. Not doing it so much for looks as I am for cleanliness. I want it clean, those mate surfaces hold unsightly dirt
