plating small woodruff keys

I would like to plate small woodruff keys for key kits. i’ve never plated before but would like to start with a copy cad & zinc kit from caswell. what all do i need to do this ? i would like to barrel plate these. is that possible with this kit if i get a small barrel? please help!!!!!
