Newbie – advice please – when changing mops do i?

Posted by admin on April 26th, 2009 at 06:18am

Hi all,

newbie just starting out on the long road of , i have some wheels i wish to mirror finish, i did a set about a year ago but i never quite got them mirror finished!!

My technique is to sand 240 and then wet and dry up too 1200 then start with a electric wheel mounted on a tyre changer, sounds a bit crazy but i think it will work, took some video on my phone but it would only record for 15sec at a time

My question is what mop and compound should i start with and when changing mops/compound should i degrease the wheel or just carry straight on with the next stage of cut?

Thanks in advance
