New CW’s 50KV system

I got my new CW’s 50 KV system yesterday and planned to use it today . I unpacked it today and was getting ready to use it . I was going to clean it before use and when I took the Air Regulating screw it was sort of stuck . When I got it out the end was broken off and stuck in the gun pipe . I drilled a small hole in the part still stuck in the pipe and screwed a small screw into it and was able to pull it out . After I got the numb out it seemed that glue has the hole completely blocked . I tried to blow through it , by mouth , and it’s completely blocked . I thought this screw was to let air by pass the gun and blow straight into the spray pipe . I did go ahead and use it on the a bumper bracket to try it out anyway . What a difference 30K volts make . The powder went on the part great , but I’m sure the gun needs some help . I think the I’m right about the screw hole should be open for air/powder to pass through , but was hoping for a 2nd opinion . I e-mailed Caswell’s today and I’m sure they will take care of any problems , but if it’s something that I can fix myself I would rather do that than sending the unit back and waiting on a replacement . I’m not knocking the system or caswell’s , I’m sure the system will be great and if not I’m sure Caswell’s will take care of it . I was just hoping to be able to correct this myself , today . Thanks , six .
