Need some help getting set up for zinc/cad and withmy power supply
Posted by admin on March 17th, 2010 at 11:30pm
The other day I was told I could use batteries for a power supply but I just purchased a variable DC power supply. It’s 2 Meters. Amperes 0-1, Volts 0-5, Dial to increase decrease power 0-130.
Will this give me enough power to be able to zinc plate and color w/yellow chromate parts as big as carburetors ? I’m just getting started and I know nothing, yet. What setting should I start out with?
Any advice on getting started , the stuff that they don’t tell you in the manual. I don’t want to ruin anything and get discouraged. I just ordered today but I’m going to read as much as I can from the forums before my stuff arrives, hopefully I’ll gain some knowledge.
Thanks!
