Is my 2nd Mastech going bad?

Hey guys, got a new one for ya. first off, thanks to all who have helped me, ive been ano’ing for a couple months now achieving quality results. recently got a 4 gallon tank running with plenty of aeration as well as cooling, all sealed up in a cooler.

so i got my first account, 300+ pieces at 38sq in. each. ive been playing with ASF settings as i feel more comfortable, currently running at 9asf getting great results w/ my tank at 64-68*.

recently when doing 4 pieces[152sq.in.] i’ll start my mastech HY3020E as usual, but when i apply amps, my PS will max out at around 1.3-1.5A. with the parts drawing about 0.8-0.9V.
at first, a couple seconds later it would kick on and jump to the correct amps as set. Now it takes me 10+ minutes of playing w/ the knobs, cursing, etc. for the power supply to actually break that 1.5 amps.
During the 10 mins it takes, the amps will start at about 1.3 max then slowly climb to 1.5-1.6max while the volts hover at around .9 the whole time.

when i hook up a small run[24 sq. in.] the PS behaves as normal, but it seems the more load[190 sq. in.] is when it started acting up.
so 10 mins ago i attempted another run, played w/it for 5 mins, dropped another piece so its down to 114sq.in., took another 5 mins to get going again.

any ideas or just another bunk unit?
