im a noob. help me Bead blast

hello everyone. as time goes on i find myself slowly but surely expanding my pile of equipment for annodizing. i just got a bead blasting cabinet for my birthday and was wondering what should be my technique for the best result. its a very nice unit and i have the proper blasting media. but technique/ pressure values is where i lack knowledge. i bead blasted my dm6 with a sandblaster(with glass beads, not sand) last weeeknd and the result was not great. i blasted it at 90psi and it looked fine prior to anno but after annoing it it had greyish spots on it. but wondering if at that pressure i pitted the metal too much, as the dye appears blotchy.
any help with consistantly bead blasting and getting great results would be greatly appreciated. thanx!
