I was just wondering….. I have the hyper smooth gun, I just got it this past Christmas, If I powder coat a part and let it cool, should it let me place a second coat over the first with out having to hot flock it, lets say I have a super good ground "as I do " I have a 10′ rod with a heavy copper wire going to my hanging rod, and the HS wire going to that, so lats say the KV’s are set good and the ground is good and the part is clean good and the coating is not to heavy,etc etc
should this gun do it? because it will not, Now Brian from CC sent me a diagram as to mod the long tip to turn it into the multiple color tip, I did so, it was just a little better but not much…… so he told me to send him my purchase order and we can see what we can do…….

I took a clean test panel and powdered it aztec gold, did a full cure then then let it cool to room temp, then shot it with black, it would only take on about 40% of the panel, I turned the kv’s down, I backed off, I changed tips, I turned the KV;s up "just to try it" I have taken my ground off and only used there ground etc etc etc

When I was buying the gun I saw a link of them coating 4 cold colors over one another, that’s why I got it. I think My Harbor gun might be better…..I sure hope this is just a bum gun.
