HELP!! what media to use on aluminum rims

I have a set of Aluminum snowflake rims for my 1977 trans am i’ve been messing with the stripper and it’s not going well My friend just bought a portable sand blaster from harbour frieght he will let me use it what media would be the best and cheapest to use to remove the paint and not pitt the aluminum i could duct tape the raised areas not being painted, i do plan on trying to polish the spokes afterwards i kinda started sanding at the top half of the rim if you can tell Attachment 1583
