handgun…oxide over tenifer??
Posted by admin on August 23rd, 2009 at 07:45am
i have a EAA witness 9mm handgun in their "wonder finish", which as far as i can find out is a heat treated finish much like Tenifer. unlike the glock it is not parkerized over the Tenifer. it is a satin silver "stainless" look. this finish is also super hard.
question is: can i blacken it? if so, then should i use the oxide kit for steel or stainless? what kind of prep work needs to be done?
thanks ahead of time for anyone with ANY ideas.
