Burnt areas

I spent a good part of the day zinc a bunch of small parts. I had great results with every part except the last one I did. I guess I got in a hurry and had the current a bit high and now have the dark grey burnt areas in a couple place and will need to redo the piece. My question is how do I "fix" this piece? Should I just bead blast, clean and try it again?
