Bead blasting for prep

Hi everyone,

I am about to embark on an experiment with Oxalic Acid hard ano. My concern if that Oxalic Acid from what I have researched produces a smoother, less textured finish, than sulfuric acid. Would beat blasting be an acceptable pre-treatment due to the matte, more tactile finish I require.
