another newbie!

Hello all, I am totally new to anodizing, polishing, chroming ect.. Please bare with me as I try to put all of my thoughts into print.

My first objective is to restore the grills and trim on my 66 Dodge Coronet. I have other car projects in the future so I will continue to use this process If I am succesful with it.

Some of my parts are somewhat odd shaped so I have been researching different tank options. I have found that I will need a 50 gallon tote to accomodate my grill halves. I should only need to fill about 50-60 percent to submerge parts. Some trim pcs. are 3/4" by 3/4" but 50" long so I figured a length of 8-10 inch cpvc pipe capped and cut open lenght wise should work.

I have sulfuric acid 93%, and sodium hydroxide 50% for my process but not sure what to dilute to. At this point I do not plan to dye any parts.

I am unsure of what I will need at this point to get started. The kits offered here seem to be small for what I am doing. I already have some of the chemicals and I don’t know what qauntity of other chemicals I need.

I would like to purchase a power supply that I could possibly use later if I decide to get into chrome plating small parts. Is there such a unit?

Thanks for your time.
