anodize polish parts
Posted by admin on January 7th, 2010 at 01:56pm
Hello all,
New female anodizer here. I have a piece that is polished and I would like to anodize.
The part is 30 sq inches. I have always been running 12 amps a square foot. The part is going to be black.
For all my matte finished parts I have been doing a 1 mil thickness.
Basically, my question is what should I do if I want to anodize a black polish finish. Should I have a .5 mil thickness?
Thanks in advance
