belt drive mc pulley

January 31st, 2009 at 02:11pm Under metal finishing

a customer brought me a belt drive mc pulley, like in the pic, and he said he wanted the teeth left uncoated. i said i think it’d be fine coated, but i said sure, easy enough to mask. just now i went to blast it, and oh yeah… how’m i gonna keep from blasting the shiny teeth.

so 1) is it safe to blast the teeth and coat them without fear of failure down the road?

and 2) if not, how should i deal with the lips adjacent the teeth when blasting?

thanks guys!

Hello all. With the new ano tank almost up and running, I don’t think that my current SPC-9250 25 amp CC PS is going to meet the needs of the new power hungry tank.
I would like to be able to ano 15-20 square feet @ 6asf, and would like a bit of help choosing a quality CC PS to handle the job. Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks again.

Compressor?? Outside???

January 31st, 2009 at 02:11pm Under metal finishing

Hey, Im looking to getting a new compressor and I would like to stick it outside of my garage mainly cause of the noise.. Maybe someone on here would have some insight on putting it outside. I live In Chicago and it gets really cold here this time of year. I would be building a small enclosure for the compressor to keep it out of the elements. I just wonder will it still work being out there when its 30 below zero?? I have mine in the garage now but it doesnt exactually get that cold in there usually it will be at 30 degree’s if im not out there, at the coldest.. My compressor now kicks on like nothing work perfect, just noisey as hell! ThAnKs

January 30th, 2009 at 12:03am Under Printing

Postcards are one of the most effective and least expensive tools you can use to generate sales. If youre advertising a product or service, postcards represent a cheaper and more durable substitute to photographic reprints or the common sell sheet. If youre reselling postcards in a gift shop environment, they offer low-cost impulse sales appeal. And if youre implementing any type of direct mail campaign, nothing comes close to matching the cost-effectiveness of postcards.

Certainly, postcards have lots of other advantages. First, postcards can be read by every person who handles the card. When youll promote party planning, youll get to sell her events to assistants, mail clerks, etc., before it even makes it to the relevant exec. Second, if you rely on sales reps, you may want to send postcards with a full-size photo of each one to customers or prospects. Also, send postcards with stickers or magnets to encourage people to keep them. Third, if you advertise in a trade magazine, competitors know. If you send postcards, there's less risk they'll know and be able to counter. Last, postcards can include a tracking code or can contain an invitation to an event.

Postcard services have been made affordable and more customer friendly with its unbeatable prices. Youll certainly come across with quotes that will help you achieve your business goals and needs. Online postcard companies just require you to send them your designs and requirements, and they'll provide you with a quote in a jiffy. From there, youll then receive excellent quality results at rates that are affordable and efficient.

Usually, postcard services have a pretty quick turnaround time, so you must enter the process prepared to get your mailing out. As soon as the design process begins, you must also start considering who will actually receive the postcard. If you know that postcard actually requires minimal time at the printer, you can ensure that you are ready to go when the cards come in. By diminishing downtime, you contribute to a more efficient and productive operation.

In addition, if youre using online postcard services, it is possible to consult with the printer and ask what to expect during the process. This concerns turnaround time, delivery and the quality of the finished product. It is much better to have your questions answered upfront than to be disappointed when your postcards arrive.

Indeed, postcards are worth buying and using because they're versatile, affordable and they sell to everyone. Hurry, get that valuable postcards now at the most reasonable prices!

Well, I must say that I am not a born writer. I didnt acquire this gift hereditarily either. However, Im an adventure book lover and used to read everything that I come across in the Internet that sounds interesting. I think, I only developed it through constant practice and exposure to numerous writing stuff. I was chosen to compete in press conferences that showcased my need-so-well-developed writing skills. I became part of our school publication staff. I started as a news writer and photojournalist of the school paper. Soon, I was appointed editor-in-chief. It was during this time when I realized that I needed to be more efficient in writing because duty called for it. I should say that this event in my life opened me wholly to the wonderful world of writing.

With all these, I cant say that I have mastered writing because of these writing experiences. I believe that this craft is also a continuous learning process. Ive been working hard to become amore efficient and competent in writing, most especially now that Im working as a content writer for this company. Im doing articles for companies, medical sites, legal sites, and many more.

Heating Elements

January 30th, 2009 at 12:03am Under metal finishing

I have [3] 2600 elements for the oven I’m building. Looking over some of the formulas. I may only need 2 of these if I am figuring correctly. My oven has inside Dim. of 30" x30" X55" does this sound right or should I install all three. Oven has metal stud frame and 14 gage steel walls inside and out. Will use unfaced insulation between walls. :)
